  The Foundation was established in 1996 as a 501 (c) (3) organization with the purpose of assisting members of Phi Rho Sigma in the areas of scholarship or by giving support to Pho Rho students who are giving service in their communities or abroad.

In the past, the Foundation has been able to provide support for students studying alternative therapeutic modalities in China; a physician led service trip to Haiti; community health services; volunteering at neighborhood clinics; and raise funds to support research for HIV.

All donations received to support these important activities are treated as tax deductible contributions for federal tax purposes. Contributions can be sent to to Phi Rho Sigma Foundation at P.O. Box 90264, Indianapolis, IN 46290.

The Foundation is governed by a three member Board of Trustees. John Ayres, M.D. is Chair of the Foundation and can be reached at Phi Rho Foundation.
